Participants Orient-meets-Occident 2010
Here the musicians from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Yemen, Marocco and and Germany are listed who will take part in the workshop "Orient meets Occident" . This workshop will be organized in cooperation with "Young Artists Festival Bayreuth" in August 2010.
"Roads to Parzifal - or the search of the holy Grail in the music between Orient and Occident" is arranged and and will be conducted by Dr. Vladimir Ivanoff. He will be assisted by 6 other lecturers. The final concert, with elements from traditional western and Al-Andalouse and jazz, from medieval times through to Wagner's era,will take place in Bayreuth, Ordenskirche St. Georgen, on August 28th at 20.00
